英文摘要 | The effectiveness of mentoring is the key to the quality of postgraduate education. An analysis of 1183 valid questionnaires reveals that the subjective, procedural and behavioral features of mentoring are important factors that affect its effectiveness. Key findings are summarized as follows: 1) The academic level and guidance ability of mentor is the precondition for effective mentoring. The ideal number of students mentored by one teacher is two per year. 2) The mentors' investment of time and energy is the key to effective mentoring. There is a positive linear correlation between mentoring frequency and mentoring effect, while the intensity of mentoring and its effect display inverse S-shaped curve transversely. The highest level of effectiveness of mentoring can be achieved by the initiative of both sides. 3) Effective mentoring includes both academic guidance and psychological support. |
