英文摘要 | Based on social exchange theory, cognitive evaluation theory and componential theory of creativity, we hypothesized and tested the mediating effect of intrinsic motivation and the determining effect of supervision behaviors between postgraduate -supervisor relationship and postgraduates' creativity. The results of Structure Equation Modeling on the 677 survey data supported all the hypotheses: (1) intrinsic motivation fully mediated postgraduate-supervisor relationship and postgraduates' creativity; (2) supervision behaviors determined the level of postgraduate-supervisor relationship, postgraduates' intrinsic motivation and creativity, of which academic supervisor leadership behaviors were positive determinants and abusive supervision behaviors were negative determinants. This study is among the first to empirically study the mechanisms between supervision behaviors, postgraduate-supervisor relationship, intrinsic motivation and creativity in the field of higher education, whose findings may enrich the relevant theory and provide a valuable reference for postgraduates' creativity education and management. |
