英文摘要 | Using the data from a survey conducted among senior undergraduate students at two top universities in Western China, this study explores the relationship between tlie individual background, campus experience and major persistence in engineering among Chinese college students. It is fauncl that behavioral persistence in learning among college students is significantly associated with individual background, but the intentional persistence in career in different patterns. Campus experience is a very important variable for predicting both behavioral persistence in learning and intentional persistence in caxeex of college students. Professional experience in c£tmpus5 a new variable developed for this study, is also a useful predicted viirisible for both behavioral persistence: in learning and intentional persistence in career among senior college students. |
