英文摘要 | Official development assistance plays a vital role in promoting the economic and social development in underdeveloped countries. In the last two decades, because of the continuous North-South gap and pressure from financial crisis, there has never been a greater need to make the aid to be used more effectively than ever. Paris Declaration established the framework for aid effectiveness, which provided direction for education aid activities. Multilateral agencies and researchers reviewed aid effectiveness in recipient countries and that of aid programs. Taking Ethiopia as an example, this paper investigates the aid effectiveness in education sector in Africa. Building upon this, several suggestions on China's education aid to Africa are proposed. |
