英文摘要 | In the globalization era, global awareness became an important goal of citizenship education in most nations. At the same time, the days that nation—states mainly shaping citizenship education have gone. International organizations have impacts on citizenship education as well. Sometimes they even played important role in defining global awareness. However, we still need more knowledge about how international organizations impact citizenship education. This article was based on the author's participation experience in the UNESCO's 2012 Asian Regional International Leadership Training Programme, and the analyses of observations, materials, informal interviews she collected/conducted during the programme. It reported UNESCO's trends, teaching methods in human rights education. Special attention was given to discussing international organization's citizenship education model. |
