Practical Patterns，Paths and Reform Process of Autonomous Enrollment tn Chinese Universities

《国务院关于深化考试招生制度改革的实施意见》对历时十余年之久的高校自主招生进行了外科手术式的调整。使这一直备受社会关注的制度变革有了新的不确定性。为此，通过对十几年来我国高校自主招生实践模式及路径选择的梳理，分析其运行中的各种利弊，强调依法按章、分类考试、综合评价、抑强扩底、强化监管等改革理路，形成高校主导，政府监管、社会参与、信息公开的自主招生的机制性安排。

The State Council’s Opinions on Deepening the Reform of Admissions Examination System” makes a surgical correction to autonomous enrolment by colleges and universities，which has lasted for more than ten years. Correspondingly，by sorting out the practical patterns and paths of univer- sities' autonomous enrolment over the past decade，this article analyzes pros and cons of its operation； emphasizes many measures in its reform process (such as compliance with laws and regulations，classi-fied testing，comprehensive evaluation，support for ordinary colleges over elite colleges，and strengthened supervision) ； and proposes university leadership， government supervision， public participation， and information disclosure in autonomous enrolment.
