中文摘要 | 多媒体、计算机和网络技术的迅猛发展,给大学英语教学带来了一场“技术革命”。传统的“黑板—课本”教学模式已经无法满足社会发展的需要。该文将多模态理论引入大学英语阅读中,以非英语专业本科生为研究对象,调查了多模态教学模式对大学生英语阅读能力的影响。研究发现,实验组成绩明显高于控制组,说明多模态教学模式有助于提高学生的英语阅读的理解和记忆能力。这种方法极大地丰富了信息输入法手段,充分刺激学生的多种感官,比单一的语言讲解更深入,更能加强学生对知识的记忆效果和从整体上建构语篇意义的能力。研究为英语阅读教学提供了教学法层面的启迪。 |
英文摘要 | The rapid development of multimedia, computer science and IT technology has brought about a “technological revolution”, and the traditional “blackboard-textbook” way of teaching cannot meet the needs of social development. With non-English majors as the subjects, the multimodal theory was introduced into the teaching practice of English reading in order to investigate the effect of the multimodal teaching on college students’ reading ability. It turned out that E group outperformed C group, indicating that the multimodal teaching has a positive effect on students’ ability of comprehension and recall of information in English reading. This teaching method strengthens students’ ability of the construction of discourse meanings due to the rich input of information and the stimulus of different sensories. The research provides pedagogical implications for the teaching of English reading. |
