英文摘要 | The view that educators are shaped through the combination of self-development and cultivation needs further exploration and improvement* The Future Educators Foundation Project launched in primary and secondary schools in Tianjin provides a representative case for exploring the relevant theories on the cultivation of future educators. The paper discussed the potential and characteristics of future educators on the basis of positioning the future educators in the educators’ pedigree. The paper further analyzed the practice of Tianjin, which lays a foundation for the development of the future educators,with a focus on the implementation of the cultivation model of “one core and three points”,the building up of the self-development platform and the creation of a reasonable environment. Based on the case study of Tianjin^ a number of theoretical problems on the cultivation of future educators are discussed. The paper concluded that: a) cultivation can lay a foundation for the development of the future educators; however,its function is limited; b) the cultivation of future educators is conditional; and c) the combination of self-development and cultivation should be in perfect harmony. |
