教育对我国区域经济增长的贡献———基于31省区面板数据的实证研究

Contribution of Education to Regional Economic Growth in China:An Empirical Study Based on the Panel Data of 31 Provinces

作者通过利用教育生产函数对我国1996-2009 年教育对区域经济增长的贡献进行了实证研究，并进一步运用空间计量方法，计算出Moran 指数及其散点图，来分析教育对我国区域经济增长贡献的空间相关性和空间分布特征。研究结果表明：（1）我国教育对区域经济增长具有明显的促进作用，其中高等教育对区域经济增长的贡献率最大；（2） 我国中等教育对区域经济增长的贡献水平及其增长的空间分布不是随机的，而是在全局和局域环节都呈现正向的空间依赖特征，表现为高水平的区域倾向于集聚在一起；（3）初等教育和高等教育对区域经济增长的贡献水平没有出现明显的空间依赖性。

This paper empirically studies the contribution of education to regional economic growth in Chinabetween 1996 and 2009 by using the function of education， and calculates Moran index and its scatter diagramwith spatial econometric methods to analyze the spatial correlation and spatial distribution characteristics. Theresults are as follows: (1) education clearly serves to promote regional economic growth in China， and thecontribution rate of higher education to regional economic growth is the highest; (2) the contribution level ofsecondary education to regional economic growth and its spatial distribution are not random， but exhibit positivecharacteristics of spatial dependence and performance with high-level regions tending to gather together; (3) thecontribution levels of primary education and higher education to regional economic growth don't display apparentspatial dependence.
