英文摘要 | There has been a hierarchy in backbone teachers for a long time. Recognized by various levels of educational authorities, backbone teachers can be classified as school-level, district-level, municipallevel, provincial-level and state-level on top of it. Although it can be understood as a ladder of professional development, the hierarchy has made a pyramid in teachers. It has actually limited the influence of backbone teachers and produced some side-effects in teachers' professional development. Referring to the experience of teacher leadership in the west, the author holds that expanding the implications of backbone teachers and enriching their roles is a new direction for teachers' professional development. |
