英文摘要 | Howto design teacher education curriculum appropriately for the purpose of preparing the excellent teacher? This article examines teacher education curriculum design in India as a case on the base of its changing teacher education curriculum polices. It identifies that the curriculum design in India is Demands-Based, which can adapt to the practice of teacher education and the challenge of the society. India's experience give us some inspiration: (1) teacher education curriculum design needs a unified national curriculum standard, (2) the curriculum should be designed on the demands of society and school reality, and (3) there should be diversified curricula correspondent to the levels of the teacher education institutions. |
