The Theory of Learning Community and the New Perspective of Foreign Language Teaching:Taking National Pilot Course "Corporate Secretary English" as An Example

本文介绍了学习共同体的概念及其理论背景，阐述了学习共同体理论给外语教学带来的有益启示：外语教学组织需要进行"范式延伸"；构建基于学习共同体理论的外语教学环境。在此基础上，本文以国家精品课程"企业文秘英语"为例，介绍了实习场及实践共同体的设计。

This paper defines learning community and its theoretical background, and explains the beneficial inspiration that the learning community theory brings to foreign language teaching: 1) The need of " paradigm extension" for foreign language teaching organization;2) The construction of the foreign language teaching environments based on the learning community theory. By taking National Pilot Course " Corporate Secretary English" as an example, the paper presents the design of the field and community of practice. The learning community theory just provides a new perspective for foreign language teaching rather than taking the place of the mainstream teaching methods in foreign language teaching.
