A Comparative Study on Top 15 Entrepreneurship Competitions in American Research Universities

创业大赛是创业教育的有效形式。本文比较了美国大学最著名的15个创业大赛，阐明了美国顶级创业大赛与研究型大学的联系，并概括了美国研究型大学创业大赛的不同模式和主要特征，据此分析研究型大学创业教育的意义与创业大赛的宗旨，总结了研究型大学创业大赛成功运行所需的保障机制，提出了完善研究型大学创业大赛的政策建议。

The entrepreneurship competition is an effective way to promote entrepreneurship education. In the US， entrepreneurship competitions arose in universities with the popularity of entrepreneurship education. By comparing the most 15 famous entrepreneurship competitions in America， this study demonstrates their relations with research universities， classifies them into different modes and also summarizes their common features which can present an American image in terms of entrepreneurship competitions on campus. Based on the above analysis， this study also illustrates the aim and significance of entrepreneurship competitions in research universities and the necessary conditions for their success， and provides some suggestions for improving entrepreneurship competitions in Chinese research universities.
