英文摘要 | Although there is a popular belief that women are not good at science, female university students in science and technology show that they can even perform better than their male counterparts in learning achievement. Faced with the gender discrimination and social prejudice against women, Could they still keep their professional pursuits in science? Are there any dilemma or difficulties they need to cope with? What are their gender consciousness and their expectations for gender equity? By conducting the surveys among more than 400 university students, the gender differences in professional interests, learning motivation and learning ability are discussed. This study also interprets the causes of gender barriers and provides some suggestions for making changes. |
