中文摘要 | 口译用户对口译产品的反应与期望之间既有一致性又有矛盾性。本文分析了现有关于用户期望的实证研究,找出其中体现出的用户期望共识,即口译用户对口译产品内容要素的期望高于对其形式要素的期望。通过对相关实证研究的回顾,本文侧重讨论了用户反应与用户期望之间,特别是用户实际反应与用户期望共识之间的矛盾和分歧,即口译用户对口译产品的实际评估可能更多地受到其形式要素而非内容要素的影响。本文进一步探讨了用户反应与用户期望之间产生矛盾的主要原因:用户无法直接评估某些口译质量标准;用户在用户反应研究和用户期望研究中对某些质量标准的理解可能有所不同;用户期望具有多变性。 |
英文摘要 | There is contradiction as well as consistency between users’ responses to and expectations for interpreting products. This paper analyzes the expectation consensus reflected in existing user expectation surveys, i.e., users usually express much higher expectations for the content factors than for the formal factors of interpretation.With a review of related empirical studies, this paper discusses the contradiction and discrepancy between user responses and user expectations, especially between users' actual responses and their expectation consensus. The contradiction lies in the fact that users' actual assessment of the received interpretation may be more greatly influenced by the formal factors than by the content factors of interpretation. This paper further explores the main reasons for the contradiction: users' incompetence to directly evaluate certain interpreting quality criteria, the difference between the users' understanding of some interpreting quality criteria in the user expectation surveys and that in the user response surveys, and the variability in user expectations. |
