| 英文摘要 | In an era shaped by rapid advances in artificial intelligence, declining birth rates, increasing cultural diversity, and pressing sustainability challenges, schools face growing uncertainty and pressure for transformation. Future Ready Schools go beyond the mere adoption of technology or superficial curriculum changes; they represent a systemic reform centered on students’ capacity for continuous learning and adaptation. This approach encompasses five key dimensions: cultivating core competencies and essential skills, promoting student-centered teaching and learning, building a safe, inclusive, and supportive school culture, using assessment and data to drive continuous improvement, and strengthening connections with communities, industries, and international partners to situate learning in authentic contexts. The successful implementation of Future Ready Schools depends largely on whether principals possess “future principal capacity.” This capacity includes competency based positive leadership, professional empowerment grounded in educational meaning, resilience-oriented school culture, and strategic cross-sector collaboration. In the face of challenges such as resource inequality, teacher workload and stress, digital and ethical concerns, and shifting policy environments, principals must adopt a systems perspective to integrate strategies effectively. By doing so, schools can move from passive policy compliance toward proactive innovation and become learning communities that genuinely prepare students for an uncertain future. |
