中文摘要 | 隨著臺灣逐漸邁向超高齡社會,近幾年老年人口不斷攀升,再加上長期照顧(以下簡稱長照)人員缺工問題,迫使國內愈加依賴外籍人力來填補長照需求缺口。多年來,菲律賓籍看護工在協助臺灣長照人力方面扮演重要角色,對提升長照服務供應發揮關鍵作用。有鑑於此,本研究聚焦於菲律賓籍看護工在臺生活及工作滿意度的探討,並分析不同背景因素對生活及工作滿意度的差異性,以期有效應對臺灣在高齡社會下的長照人力挑戰。本研究透過問卷調查法蒐集資料,回收424份有效問卷,並採用SPSS 22正體中文版進行量化分析。結果顯示,個人背景變項如年齡、性別與教育程度對生活滿意度及工作滿意度均無顯著差異。生活滿意度與工作滿意度之間呈現中度正相關,表示當看護工的生活滿意度提高時,工作滿意度亦會隨之提升。因此,本研究建議政策制定者應加強改善外籍看護工的生活及工作條件,促進他們的整體福祉,並可進一步探討外國中階技術看護工在獲得許可(續聘)或申請永久居留權後留臺繼續從事長照工作的意願。 |
英文摘要 | As Taiwan approaches a super-aged society by 2025, the growing elderly population and a critical shortage of long-term care professionals have intensified reliance on foreign care workers, particularly Filipino care workers. This study investigates Filipino caregivers’ life and job satisfaction in Taiwan, analyzing personal factors such as age, gender, and education to assess their impact on satisfaction levels. Based on a survey of 424 responses analyzed using SPSS 22, findings reveal no significant influence of these factors on satisfaction. However, a moderate positive correlation between lifestyle and job satisfaction highlights that improving living conditions can enhance work satisfaction. The study recommends that policymakers prioritize improving living and working conditions to support the well-being of Filipino care workers and suggests further exploration of intermediate skilled workers’ willingness to remain in Taiwan for long-term contributions to addressing the labor shortage in long-term care. |
