中文摘要 | 青少年的數位性別暴力已成為許多國家關注的議題,提升其預防及應對能力刻不容緩。本文首先釐清數位性別暴力的相關用語和內涵,再回顧兩篇分別來自加拿大和英國的近期研究,從而了解青少年數位性別暴力研究在西方國家目前的進展,以及對臺灣研究的啟發。最後,歸納出對青少年數位性別暴力防治教育的三項提醒,分別為:一、擁有辨別和指稱能力是重要的第一步;二、檢視防治教育傳達的訊息;三、挑戰不平等的性別關係。本文強調實徵研究和教師專業發展的重要,唯有清楚了解臺灣青少年的數位性別暴力樣態、經驗與想法,設計出的防治教育才能因應臺灣社會文化脈絡,協助青少年發展出實用的策略,應對數位時代的性與性別暴力。 |
英文摘要 | Digital gender-based violence among adolescents has become a concern in many countries, and it is urgent to enhance their ability to prevent and respond to it. This article first clarifies the relevant terminology and then reviews two recent studies from Canada and the UK to consider their implications for research in Taiwan. Finally, three key reminders for digital gender-based violence prevention education for adolescents are summarized: (1) equipping adolescents to identify digital gender-based violence is an important first step, (2) examining the messages being conveyed, and (3) challenging unequal gender relations. This article emphasizes the importance of empirical research and teacher professional development. Only by clearly understanding the forms, experiences, and views of digital gender-based violence among Taiwanese adolescents can prevention education be designed to fit Taiwan’s context and help adolescents develop practical strategies to address sexual and gender violence in the digital age. |
