Modern Distance Education：Promoting the Reform and Development of Higher Education

本文系作者于2005年11月对欧洲的高等学校，以及联合国教科文组织袁程教育委员会进行访问之后，就中国高等教育改革与发展引起的思考与启发。

In November of 2005， the first author of this article visited some colleges or universities in Europe， UNESCO and its Distance Education Committee， and paid more attention to the distance education in these countries. This article came from the author’s impression of the Europe─trip and their reflection on the reform and development of Higher Education in China.
