On the Philosophical Analysis of Educational Theory

教育理论是一个复杂、动态的知识体系，有其[能]与[不能]。其[能]并不是直接产生的，而是需要实践者这个必要的中介，且其[能]的运作有其内在机制。明于此，对于教育理论，既不能拔高它，也不能贬低它，而是要正确地认识、评价与体察它。

Educational theory is a complex and developmental knowledge system. It has its [can] and [can’t]. Its [can] cannot be realized directly. Instead， it needs practitioner as necessary agent， and its operation has its internal mechanism. Therefore， we should neither overstate nor play down educational theory. We should understand， evaluate and practice educational theory in a right way.
