Unity of Scientific Literacy and Humantistic Literacy on the Basis of Scientific Reason

关于科学教育和人文教育的论争，体现在教学目的上，就是要重点培养人的科学素养还是培养人文素养的问题。到目前为止，在这一问题上，人们基本上达成共识：既要重视科学素养的培养又要注重人文素养的培养，应该把二者有机地统一起来。但问题是：如何统一?二者统一的基点在哪里呢？这是需要深入研讨的。

Students should be taught to have scientific literacy and humanistic literacy in the modern teaching process， which means the unity of the two. But how? There are so many different answers. The author points out that we should take a rational attitude to the criticism of science education under our historical and social conditions， improve our humanistic education on the basis of scientific reason， cultivate humanistic literacy through science education.
