The Pro gress and Achievements of Research on Basic Teaching Theories During the Recent 40 Years
During the 40 years of reform and opening， Chinese basic teaching theory research has made remarkable achievements， and made important contributions to our education modernization . Its achievements are mainly as follows： Firstly， it has further revealed the scientinc connotation of teaching concept， and enriched the conceptual scope of teaching theory . Secondly， it has made an in-depth discussion upon a lot of problems about teaching values， adhered to the value orientation of individual comprehensive devel- opment consciously， and established the ethical dimension of teaching towards being good and the developmental teaching evaluation philosophy . Thirdly， based on a rational understanding of the basic contradictory relations in teaching activities， it has constructed some crucial working principles of teaching， such as developmental teaching theory， teaching epistemology and student-centered theory . Finally， tt has keenly grasped the tendency of teaching practice reform， and then， established the practice reform direction and basic strategies that aim at developing and improving China?s modern teaching system .
