英文摘要 | Abstract: The poetry is a style with rhythm that is from the heart and can be used to ex- press feelings. It is simple, euphemistic, and elegant. Before Confucius, the ancient sages had used poetry to educate and cultivate people's minds to be moderate. Since the ime of the Confucius? the Book of Songs enjoyed the priority in the study of six scriptures and Confucian introduces the Book of Songs education with respect. Teaching using the B〇kk of Songs ams for moderation education: being honest but gentle, tolerant but cautious, temperament upright but not overbearing, and smple but not arrogant. Sucheduca-iion can create a social atmosphere of being moderate and kind but not foolish. Teaching using the B〇kk of Songs uses a means of ^perception and mutual understanding” which is based on ^Zhongshu” (treating others like treating oneself) and can be implemented in “Yishenweipi”(considering a situation from another's point of view) and ^Xieju” (using the standards of treating oneself to treat others). Therefore, teaching using the B〇kk of Songs emphasizes spiritual communication and sincere emotion exchanges between poetry and people. Such teaching and learning s not only easy to be implemented, but also s significant in inspir- ing people and making people be kind and helpful. |
