Problems of Man: The Logical Starting Point of Dewey^s Philosophy of Education

Dewey’s philosophy of education took social philosophy and philosophy of life as reference. It addressed the “problems of man” in the time and society . “Problems of man” are the relationships between man and nature，man and society，man and life，and the knowledge and action of man. In exploring the “problems of man”， Dewey completed the transformation of philosophy and education， and established his unique education philosophy . Therefore， “Problems of man” is the logical starting point of Dewey’s philosophy of education .
