中文摘要 | 本文的主要目的在于揭露文化与社会控制的关系,并以建构论的角度凸显共同规准的优势,透过此种解析以了解主流文化隐藏的社会控制机能,诸如文化再生产的问题根源于课程内容与优势阶级和族群的亲近性。因而要改善弱势阶级和族群不只是采取向主流文化靠拢的手段,也可从了解自身文化的独特性出发,依据此种认知进行文化响应的课程发展,以改善主流文化造成的缺失。 |
英文摘要 | As mainstream culture is able to shape social values that influence social members’behavior patterns,the dominant group devotes itself to establishing the legitimacy of its culture. This legitimacy creates a vertical discourse that functions to rearrange differentiated cultures into a pyramid one rejecting the notion of multiple cultures. To improve their social status,the dominated groups have to abandon their own cultures and identities,and internalize the dominant culture. This essay argues that the dominant group's political attempt, embodied within the legitimate culture,intends to sustain existing cultural domination and obstruct cultural innovation. In order to reverse the attempt,school curriculum development needs to be culture-oriented. This approach addresses a horizontal discourse recognizing the unique characteristics of cultures shaped within their own specific contexts. |
