Tablets is a new category of mobile devices， which may promote the ICT in special education and improve learning of disabled person. This article made some literature research on tablet apps for special education， categorized them into objectives， application fields and specialization， and discussed the features and design principles of them. The author also did market analysis on apps for special education and expounded current problems and future trends of its development.
