樂齡學習專業人員的專業發展,是近年相當受到關注的議題。樂齡講師從決定投入到以樂齡教學為志業的熱忱展現,應該是歷經了複雜的動機轉化過程。本研究目的在探討樂齡講師教學動機的轉化歷程,訪談16位樂齡講師,年齡從36-71歲,樂齡教學的年資介於4-11年。結果顯示:一、樂齡講師的教學動機始於自身遭遇環境、工作、家庭和個人經驗的困境,透過反思找到自我與樂齡教學的共鳴;二、樂齡教學的初期目標是認知自我的角色和專長,透過漸進式的教學投入逐步深化教學行動;三、教學行動的反思能讓講師覺察自我的專業缺口、教與學之需求,並且帶來老化觀點的轉化,持續強化教學的動機;四、樂齡講師教學動機之深化,表現在熱忱、多元深耕、奉獻與使命上,完成自身和他人多種需求層次的意義。依據本研究分析結果,提出對樂齡講師之培訓單位在招募講師和培訓規劃上,以及對未來研究者的建議。
英文摘要
The professional development of the lectures in Senior Citizens Learning Centers (SCLC) has been an important issue in recent years. SCLC lecturers should experience a complicated process of motivational transformation from the time when they decide to devote themselves to teaching senior citizens to the time when their enthusiasm develops into a career. This study aimed to explore the transformational process of SCLC lecturers’ teaching motivation. 16 SCLC lecturers were interviewed, their ages ranging from 36 to 71 and their teaching experience ranging from 4 to 11 years. The results were summarized as follows: 1. SCLC lecturers’ teaching motivation began with the difficulties they encountered in their environment, work, family, and personal experience. Through reflection, they gradually related to senior teaching. 2. Their initial goal of senior teaching is to understand their own role and expertise, and to gradually deepen their teaching actions through progressive teaching investment. 3. Their reflections on teaching actions led them to perceive their professional deficiencies and the teaching and learning needs, bring about the transformation of aging perspectives, and continuously strengthen their motivation for teaching. 4. The deepening of SCLC lecturers’ teaching motivation is reflected in their enthusiasm, multi-level cultivation, dedication and mission, and the significance of fulfilling the various needs of themselves and others. Based on the findings, this article proposes recruitment and training plans for SCLC lecturers’ training units, as well as suggestions for future researchers.
