The Importance of International Education at Various Educational Stages From the Perspective of Sustainable Development Education

本文從永續發展教育的角度探討各教育階段國際教育的重要性。文中討論了基於《中小學國際教育白皮書2.0》、教育部中小學國際教育中程計畫以及《十二年國民基本教育課程綱要總綱》下，各教育階段的國際教育目標，以及實施這些政策所面臨的全球化挑戰與融入永續發展目標的相關議題與機會，同時也描述了政府推動永續教育導向的國際教育在經費補助及人才培育方面努力，期能達成學生有效學習成效與政策目標的具體作為。

This article explores the importance of international education at various educational stages from the perspective of sustainable development education. It discusses Taiwan’s education policies, the objectives of international education at different educational levels, and the challenges and opportunities in implementing these policies. The paper emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach to education that prepares students for global challenges, fosters global citizenship and incorporates sustainable development goals based on White Paper for International Education in Primary and Secondary Schools 2.0, Ministry of Education Medium-term Plan for International Education in Primary and Secondary Schools and 12-year Civil Education Curriculum Guidelines. The article also described the government’s endeavor to promote sustainable education-oriented international education through financial support and talent development that leads to effective student learning outcomes and policy objectives.
