中文摘要 | 受到新冠疫情影響,2020年以來數位網路學習快速崛起,傳統高等教育則因少子化現象正面臨減招退場的嚴重威脅,其發展處於關鍵的轉折點。 本研究從宏觀角度檢視大學的發展歷程並想像未來世界的景象,嘗試重新架構未來大學的功能與內涵。研究者認為,豐富優質的教學系統、探索宇宙並創造美好未來的研究精神,以及兼善社會的公共知識分子責任等,都是無可取代的大學傳統核心價值,但其實踐形式需要隨著環境演變進行重大調整。在教學上,高等教育應從過去「以知識為本」改為「以人為本」,全面關注學生、教師、校園、社區與全球的未來,更要協助學子自主、自理、自在地過生活,勇於開創未來,整合跨領域知識並養成創造力、想像力、設計力、敘事力和開創精神;在研究上,大學應從未知領域的知識探究與論文發表,挪移到關注整個社會發展的人文創新;尤應自詡為區域創新發展的樞紐,充分運用其知識資本以釋放創新活力,共同孕育具有生命力的區域創新生態系統。 |
英文摘要 | The rapid rising of digital internet learning since 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic is a reality. The low birth rate has threatened student recruitment and school close down. As a result, higher education is facing its turning point. From the macro perspective, this paper examines the evolution of college education as well as envisions the future world, attempting to re-construct the contents and functions of future colleges. Profound educational systems, dedicated research to explore the universe and create a better future, and social responsibility of the knowledge elite are all irreplaceable traditional core values of colleges. Yet, the operations need to keep up with the pace of the environmental changes. In terms of teaching, changing from knowledge-based to human-based is required. Paying attention to the future of students, teachers, campuses, communities and the whole world; supporting students to become self-motivated and self-managed under free living; daring to create future, integrating multi-discipline knowledge, and nurturing creativity, imagination, design, narration abilities and entrepreneurship are all crucial. In terms of research, changing from exploring the unknown and publication to concerning the development of the whole society through humanity innovation is needed. Especially, taking the role of becoming the hub of regional development, releasing creativity through knowledge capital and constructing the ecosystem for a lively regional innovation are imperative. |
