國際文憑大學預科課程之特色與在地實踐

Local Praxis of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

本文旨在說明國際文憑大學預科課程（the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, IBDP）的特色，並呈現IBDP課程的在地實踐。首先介紹IB國際文憑課程的歷史沿革、教育哲學與課程內容，同時記錄西松高中在籌辦IB國際文憑過程中，既須符合IBDP課程標準，又要滿足臺灣中等教育的公校情境，在課程開設、師資準備與校園情境三方面，分享成為IB學校後至目前已解決與待解決的問題。企盼未來國內雙語師資培育，除了一般性學科教師雙語教學能力的培養外，亦能培訓有能力進行學術英語授課的進階雙語教師，以符合未來國際學校發展及國際文憑課程師資需求。

This article aims to describe the journey of being authorized to run the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, hereinafter referred to as the IBDP, at Taipei Municipal Xisong High School. The historical development and pedagogical philosophy of the IB, as well as the DP curriculum model, are briefly introduced. Then the article explores the challenges of the putting the DP curriculum into the Xisong local context. Furthermore, this article points out that, with a view to the need of carrying out the highly challenging IBDP curriculum, bilingual teachers in Taipei can be trained in the future to teach for academic purpose.
