英文摘要 | The paper discussed the research of arts education in three domains in USA by examining three research projects of arts education. The Project Zero conducted by Harvard University concluded that arts education did not necessarily improve students' overall academic competence and performance; but the irreplaceable value of art education researchers was emphasized. The research of Arts Education and Dropout Rates showed that arts education could postpone the time of school dropout and keep children learning at school for a longer period, which indirectly demonstrated the positive influence of arts education on school learning. The research of“Teaching Artists”investigated every aspect of artists' teaching activities, and systematically explored and analyzed the development and social function of the teaching role of artists. |
