The Relationship between Internet Addiction and Learning Burnout for College Students

本研究主要欲瞭解大學生的網路使用行為，以及探討網路成癮與學習倦怠之間的相關性。研究過程以中部大學生為研究對象，以「中文網路成癮量表」與「大學生學習倦怠量表」為研究工具，共獲有效樣本2,492份。先利用LISREL軟體進行量表的驗證性因素分析，再應用SPSS軟體進行項目分析、敘述統計分析、獨立樣本t檢定、Pearson積差相關，以及典型相關等統計分析，主要結論如下：一、所使用的兩個量表其整體及內在結構適配性良好。二、大學生的主要上網地點為家裡或宿舍；其次為學校；學生平均每天上網時數以1～4小時居多，占59.4%；而高達60.2%的學生平均每天讀書時數僅在1小時以內。三、網路成癮高危險群較一般學生更容易出現網路成癮及學習倦怠徵狀。四、大學生的網路成癮傾向與學習倦怠之間存在兩個顯著典型相關。

This study investigated college students' internet use and the correlation between internet addiction and learning burnout. We used "The Chinese Internet Addiction Disorder Scale" and "The Learning Burnout Scale" as instruments, and a total of 2,492 college students in central Taiwan were our subjects. The main findings were: (1) the two scales' model fit well; (2) college students mainly use the internet at home or in their dormitory room. Most of the students we studied spent 1-4 hours daily on the internet (59.4%), whereas 60.2% of them spent less than 1 hour on studying per day; (3) students who at high risk of being internet addiction show a greater tendency toward internet addiction and learning burnout than the other students; (4) there were significant positive correlations between internet addiction and learning burnout.
