The Reform of General Certificate of Secondary Education Exam in the New Century in United Kingdom

自《1988年教育改革法》颁布实施之后，英国中等教育证书考试成为了对结束义务教育阶段的中学生的知识、技能水平的全面鉴定。在新世纪，英国中等教育证书考试受到人们越来越多的关注，但同时又面临诸多如质量下降、学业成绩差距拉大等新的挑战。本文通过对新世纪英国政府重要教育报告的分析，揭示英国政府对中等教育普通证书考试改革的重要举措，以及这些举措对改革我国普通高中会考的重要启示。

Since the Education Reform Act 1988 was published, General Certificate of Secondary Education exam has become a complete verification for students who have graduated from compulsory education. This exam will check their school achievements on both knowledge and skills. In the new century, this exam is concerned by more and more people, but also faces more challenges, such as quality decling, larger attainments gap and so on. This paper has studied some important education reports published by United Kingdom government, and conclude the measures that the government has taken to reform the General Certificate of Secondary Education exam. These measures are also the enlightenment for reform the examination of high school graduation in China.
