中文摘要 | 政府在偏遠地區學校投注近百億經費,但其學生學習成效依然落後,顯示資源未必是提升偏遠地區學生學習成效的良方;研究顯示,偏遠地區學校與家庭、社區夥伴健全,有助於改善學生學習成效與行為舉止。本研究抽樣調查全國偏遠地區國中家長,分析家長對學校、家庭、社區夥伴關係的運作情形,作為學校改善夥伴關係的依據。本研究發現,家長同意學校在夥伴關係中扮演稱職的角色,尤其在協助家長掌握學生表現與學習情形最受肯定;家長雖在學生教養與課業學習上的參與度高,但整體而言,仍較為被動;家長教育程度高及職業為家管者較會參與夥伴關係。根據上述發現,本研究針對偏遠地區國中提供四項具體建議,以有效改善學校、家庭與社區夥伴關係。 |
英文摘要 | Government has invested billions of dollars in trying to help students in the remote areas, but student achievement is still backward. This shows that investing resource or funds is not the best solution to improve student achievement. Research proves that the school, family and community partnership program can improve student achievement and behavior in these areas. The purpose of this paper is to analyze parents' involvement in the school, family and community partnership program in Taiwan's remote junior higher schools. This paper uses questionnaire survey and the data is collected from parents in the remote public junior school in Taiwan. The main findings are as follows: First, parents agree that schools play positive roles in the school, family and community partnership, especially in helping parents to mentor student learning performance. Secondly, parents have relatively higher involvement in aspects of parenting and learning at home, but in fact they are still very passive. Thirdly, parents with higher education level or being housewives involve frequently in school, family, and partnership program. According to the above results, four recommendations for remote junior high schools were proposed to improve parental involvement in the school, family and community partnership. |
