中文摘要 | 在现有教学管理体制下,英语专业基础阶段的语言训练受到时间的制约。为了突破这一瓶颈,笔者开设了“个性化英语学习”(IEL)平台课程,在“兴趣驱动”的原则下开展个性化学习实验。对学生一学期内课外学习情况的调查显示,他们每周在课外围绕IEL进行了多种英语学习活动,每周平均超过5小时,超过了多数专业必修课的课外活动时间。这些结果显示,“兴趣驱动”原则和“个性化英语学习”平台课程对于英语专业课程建设及改革具有重要意义。 |
英文摘要 | Under the present teaching management system, English majors' language training has been bottlenecked by a severe lack of time. To break the bottleneck, the authors have devised a platform course Individualized English Learning (IEL) to explore individualized learning in line with the interest-driven principle. A semester-long survey on students' outside-class learning showed that students who were enrolled in this course carried out various kinds of learning activities and they devoted more than five hours on average every week to their IEL course, more time than devoted to even most compulsory English courses. The results demonstrate that the interest-driven principle and the IEL platform course is of great significance to the construction and reform of English major courses. |
