英文摘要 | Globalization is not Americanization or Europeanization, as the progress of globalization oriented toward standardization brings about not only the development of new economy, but also the globalization of poverty, suffering, war, terror, exploitation and destruction of nature. We must recognize the ineluctability of cultural diversity, introduce into the education system with a transcultural education for sustainability oriented toward peace and social justice, and develop students' ability to deal with the other in society and nature. This proposition is fully discussed in multiple dimensions within this essay, and the theories and practices of transcultural education have been made clear conceptually and methodologically. |
