An Analysis of the Systematic Characteristics of China’s Higher Education in the Massification Era

本文从高等教育大众化理论框架出发，通过对我国不同类型高校的典型问卷调研和背景分析，对1999年扩招以后高等教育的宏观特征、学校管理和教学旌匡等变化情况进行了初歩梳理，试图给出一个新的政策视角，以甄别发展中的关键性问题。

The paper is based on a survey towards different types of Chinese higher education institutions in accordance with the “mass higher education” theoretical framework. It is an attempt to analyze characteristic features of Chinese higher education at the system level， changes in internal administration and teaching methodology at the institutional level from a new perspective and identify problems critical to future development after the higher education expansion since 1999.
