American Education Study in China is an abundantly productive research field， which represents the frontier of Chinese comparative education studies. During the past three decades， it has developed dramatically. The development might be rooted from Chinese intellectuals' deep interest towards the USA， and it could be driven by the education problems and reforms in China. With the expansion of Chinese PhD education and the increase of academic interests， there will be more in-depth studies in China.
