American charter schools have lied in the field of political game plays of different interest groups since they came into being. Two opposite interest groups debated on the efficiency， accountability and equity of the charter schools. Political game plays made the charter schools facing much uncertainty in the process of development. Based on the strong support of American federal government， the revision of charter school law and the twilight of dialogue between opposite interest groups， American charter schools may gain a good development in the future.
