創業文化體系下的大學社會服務創新──以MIT與128公路的興衰、再崛起為例

Insight into University Service Innovation: in the Perspective of the System of Entrepreneurial Culture ──Reflection on MIT and the Vicissitudes of Route 128

美国的128公路作为一个高科技产业带聚集了大批以创新为主导的公司，并且与创业型大学，特别是MIT有着密切的合作关系。自20世纪50年代以来，该产业带经历了勃兴、衰落、再度崛起的过程。本文试图从创业文化及其内部结构的角度来解释128公路的经历，同时揭示大学社会服务创新不仅体现在研究成果的应用转化，而且更重要的是在建构地区创业文化体系的过程中发挥深层次的作用。

Route 128 is a hi-tech region with a cluster of innovative firms that have close links with entrepreneurial universities such as MIT. Despite its glorious start during 1950’s， Route 128 had gone through a serious downturn before it could revive at the turn of this millennium. There are perhaps different explanations for these vicissitudes. This paper chooses to view them through the system of entrepreneurial culture and explores how MIT can relate to its phases in Route 128. it argues that， in providing innovative social service， universities should extend beyond commercializing its research results and play a role of constructing the structure of underlying entrepreneurial culture.
