中文摘要 | 本文采用 Fitzpatrick( 2007)关于词汇联想反应词的定性分析范式对独立学院理工科大学生英文单反应词的词汇联想结果和爱丁堡词汇联想数据库的相关数据进行比较分析,结果表明大学生虽然能够对某些英语词在一定程度上形成概念性心理表征,也能借助汉语词通达与英语词对应的语义表征,但是,其意义联想和位置联想强度较英语母语者弱。可能因为过分依赖词的结构和视觉特征,他们与英语母语者最大的不同是,其反应词主要体现了他们对英文刺激词的形态联想。大学生可能依据词的形态特征来组织英文词的心理表征。 |
英文摘要 | A single-word association task was conducted on some Chinese independent college students. The comparison between the results and those from the Edinburgh Word Association Thesaurus with the datum-analysis paradigm of Fitzpatrick (2007) indicated that the students' word associations were qualitatively different from those of native speakers of English. Although the students might develop semantic representations for English words to some extent and they can gain access to semantic representations for English words through translation, they were significantly weaker than native English speakers at meaningand position-based associations. Probably because of their over-dependence on the orthographical or visual features of written words the students' biggest difference from native speakers was that they mainly produced form-based associations to English words. |
