中文摘要 | 基于美国社会学家Wenger 提出的实践共同体理论框架,以教师自我反思来促进职业发展为主导思想,本研究探索了一种通过实践共同体促进新手教师职业发展的途径,其主要目的是培养新手教师的自我反思能力,提高他们的教学和科研能力,通过有经验教师和新手教师之间的定期和不定期的访谈、互相听课、写反思日记、工作坊、集体读书等面对面的交流活动以及网络交流活动,在教学理念、教学方法、教学困惑、师生关系、科研能力、情感世界、知识信息等方面进行交流,达到知识建构、知识共享、共同发展的目的,使新手教师在认同上由教学实践者向教学研究者逐步发生转变。 |
英文摘要 | This study explores novice college English teachers' professional development under the model of community of practice, a theory of learning developed by American sociologist Etienne Wenger. The community of practice in this study refers to a community composed of both experienced and novice college English teachers from a university, undertaking the learning activities within the community, such as writing self-reflective diaries, observing each other's classes, workshops, on-line discussion, cooperating in research projects and the like. The community aims to develop novice teachers' self-reflection ability as well as their competence in both teaching and research. It is found that this self-reflective development model can not only build up their professional knowledge, but also facilitate their inner world growth.
