关于源语重述练习在连续传译培训中作用的实证研究

An empirical study of the role of source language paraphrasing exercise on consecutive interpreting training

源语重述练习是口译培训初期常见的一个单元，但是该练习究竟能在口译培训中发挥什么样的作用，如何才能更有效地让学员通过该练习得到提高，相关的研究并不多见。为补足这方面的缺失，笔者开展了本项实证研究，通过前后测考察源语重述练习在连续传译培训中的作用。经SPSS17.0 配对样本分析，结果显示：源语重述练习能对中译英、英译中连续传译表现起促进作用。这是因为该练习能扩大连续传译中所需工作记忆的容量；（2）能加深连续传译中对信息的处理深度；（3）能帮助译者更好地摆脱原文语言外壳的束缚，把握意义。

Source Language Paraphrasing exercise is a common sector at the initial stage of interpreting training， but seldom does any research focus on its effect on interpreting training and the way to adopt it effectively in improving trainees' performance. Therefore， the author conducted this empirical study. By comparing subjects' performance in the pre-test and the post-test with the help of SPSS 17.0， the author demonstrated that Source Language Paraphrasing exercise can improve consecutive interpreting performance; it is because SLP exercises can 1) enlarge working memory capacity; 2) enhance information processing depth and 3) help the interpreter better grasp the sense by deverbalization.
