关于我国21世纪的中长期外语教育政策规划的初步设想

Thoughts on the construction of the medium-long term policies for foreign language education in China in the 21st century

本文在概述改革开放以来我国外语教育的成就及存在的问题的基础上，提出未来十多年我国外语教育健康发展应以科学发展观为指导，做好中长期外语教育政策规划。本文着重论述了做好外语教育政策规划的目的、意义、面临的机遇及挑战，提出了外语教育政策规划的基本原则的初步设想。

This paper gives an overview of the achievements and existing problems in foreign language education since the reform and opening-up of China. It suggests that the development of medium-long term policies for foreign language education in the next decades should be guided by the scientific outlook on development. The paper focuses on the significance， aims， challenges and opportunities of and explores the fundamental principles for making foreign language education policies.
