英文摘要 | The author proposes her operable schemes of teaching objectives, tasks, methods, as well as a novel principle of assessing students' achievement for an English public speaking course, based on her teaching experience with non-English majors in recent years. English public speaking is a course based on practical rather than theoretical learning. Therefore, instructors are supposed to organize the lectures appropriately so as to mobilize students' initiatives and incentives. Furthermore, a sensible assessment system of students' achievements is required to represent students' practical rather than theoretical abilities. Only by creating an enjoyable and efficient learning mechanism can it help expand students' public speaking aptitude. |
