中文摘要 | 本文对笔者开设的[美国英语语音]系列课程展开教学反思。笔者首先回顾课程的建设背景及其发展过程,介绍课程现状,着重阐述了英语语音专题教学的教学理念与实践,最后提出了课程未来的发展动向。笔者主张采用[跨语言语音分析模仿的原则(a cross-linguistic analytic-imitative approach)],帮助学生全面认知英语语音,利用所学的方法与技巧,在持之以恒的练习中逐步地熟练掌握正确的音段(segmental)发音和超音段(suprasegmental)表达的技能,最终从听、说两个角度牢固地掌握大学英语的基本词汇和英语语法规则,从而为提高英语听说应用能力夯实必要的语音物质基础,增加学生在英语听说训练中的兴趣与自信。 |
英文摘要 | This article presents the author's pedagogical reflections on his elective courses of English pronunciation. It starts with a brief review of the background and development of the courses and an introduction of their current status, and then focuses on the ultimate objective, its principles, and instruction practices in pronunciation teaching, and ends by suggesting some new directions for further advancement. The author emphasizes a cross-linguistic analytic-imitative approach in English pronunciation instruction for college students. By depicting a complete picture of English sound system and offering practical and effective pronunciation techniques, the author aims to help students with their mastery of spoken vocabulary and spoken grammar in their effort to improve English communicative competence. |
