中文摘要 | 本文通过定量定性相结合的方法,就师生课外交往情况、学生对英语教师的印象、学生在英语课堂上的心理状态和课堂教师的反馈和测试评估这5 个方面,调查了目前高职院校英语教师和学生关系的现状以及造成该现状的原因和应对方法,分析了师生[身份]和[权力关系]在师生双方关系中所起的作用。研究发现:(1)除了课堂反馈以外,其他4 个方面的现状均不理想。原因是(2)教师不平等地看待学生、任务重、师生不主动与对方交往,解决策略是树立师生平等的理念,师生都要主动与对方交往;(3)教师形成了高高在上的[身份],学生则把自己放在服从的位置上,双方没有试图通过交往予以改变。本文使我们明确了师生双方要以平等的身份出现,重视沟通和协商,构建起一种平等的权力关系,从而使英语教学更趋人性化。 |
英文摘要 | With respect to the five aspects of extracurricular teacher-student communication, students' impression of their English teachers, students' mental states in class, teachers' in-class feedback, and English testing and evaluation, this study aimed to explore: (1) the existing relationship between English teachers and students in current vocational colleges; (2) the causes of such relationship and the countermeasures; (3) the role of identities and power relations in teacher-student relationship. The results showed that: (1) except in-class feedback, the situation of the other four aspects was not satisfactory; (2) the causes were teachers' unequal attitudes towards students, teachers' heavy working-loads and the two parties' inactivity in communicating with each other; the countermeasure suggested was that the two parties should bear the concept of equality in mind and take the initiative to communicate with each other; (3) teachers put themselves in the superior status, while students in the obedient place; and the two sides failed to try to change the situation through intercommunication. This paper assured us that both teachers and students should put emphasis on communication and negotiation to form an equal identity and power relation so that more humanistic English teaching and learning may appear. |
