中文摘要 | 文献资料显示,情景小品教学已被证明在激发学习者口语练习积极性,培养综合表达能力方面所具的优势,然而针对大学英语低起点学习者情景小品教学方面的研究仍不多见。本文针对某体育学院2006级民族传统体育系英语情景小品教学改革展开研究,发现对于大学英语低起点学习者而言,表演者自身的语言水平和小品准备程度虽然会对小品的完成效果构成影响,但并不会因此降低学习者对情景小品教学模式的青睐,教师能够通过一系列有效的课堂教学和课下监控策略帮助学习者克服准备过程中的各种障碍,从而培养学生英语学习的兴趣,帮助他们树立学好英语的信心。 |
英文摘要 | Relevant literature reveals that role-play has been proved to be advantageous in motivating learner's initiative of English speaking skill training as well as in developing their English expression competence in general. Nevertheless, studies on role-play instruction to the low-level college English learners are still rare. Therefore, this thesis deals with the case of role-play instruction for the Chinese Ethnic and Traditional Sports major students at Capital Institute of Physical Education. It found that although low-level college English learners' performance of role-play, to some extent, depended on the learners' linguistic level and devotion to the task; their preference for the role-play methodology itself was not reduced thereby. On the contrary, teachers could help those learners to overcome or reduce the barriers in the process of role-play preparation through various effective in-class tutorial strategies and post-class monitoring strategies so as to cultivate their interest and help to build their confidence in English language learning. |
