中文摘要 | 本文是作者对过去三年给本科生开设[语言学导论>课程的总结。通过问卷和访谈调查,作者得出如下结论:1) 如果教师能了解学生的兴趣和需求,并据此适当调整教学安排,是能够调动起学生对语言学的兴趣的;2) 学生觉得收益最大的地方是与教师和其他同学一起尝试就具体的语言现象进行分析,这比单纯地介绍语言学理论更有效果;3) 因为绝大多数学生在上课之前对语言学缺乏基本的了解,教师在教学过程中应注意由浅而深,通过生动的例子讲解抽象的理论,并且适当加大与学生的生活息息相关的专题所占的比例。 |
英文摘要 | It is quite a challenge to teach to undergraduates because 1) some students hold very negative attitude towards linguistics and towards the course; 2) traditionally the course has been taught in a teacher-dominating way; and 3) students are becoming more and more practical-minded and are only interested in those knowledge and skills that will help them in their job hunting. Based on her past three years’ experience in teaching the course, the author suggests that students’ interest in linguistics can be actively aroused if the lecturer knows what they want and plans teaching accordingly. |
