Thoughts on the Application of Humor in the Principal's Leadership

處在多元複雜的時代，校長工作日益繁忙，工作壓力也相當大，如何適當運用幽默來進行組織經營管理與自我調適相當重要。俗話說：「有什麼樣的校長，就有怎樣的學校。」為了打造一座歡樂校園，校長必須運用幽默於學校領導上，適時地將幽默用於行政管理與人際相處上，營造出優質的歡樂場域，增進教師工作熱誠，以提升組織整體效能。本文首先提出幽默之重要性，接著探討幽默之意涵，再來探討幽默在校長領導之應用，分成幽默創造方面、幽默理解與欣賞方面、幽默因應方面，以提供教育工作者與教育行政單位參考之用。

In a complicated age， a principal have a lot of business to do and have much stress. It is very important for a principal know how to utilize humor in organization management and operation appropriately and self-adjustment. As the going says，'' As is the principal， so is the school.” In order to build a happy school， a principal must use humor in school leadership， and use it in administration management and relationships. The paper is to bring up the importance of humor first， and then probe into the definition of humor and the meanings. And the paper is to probe into the applications of humor in principal leadership， such as the use of humor， the comprehension and appreciation of humor， the adjustment in humor. It also provided several suggestions for educators and educational administration institutions.
